KII - Kenya

We are introducing our first Kenyan coffee and are so happy to share the wonderful Kii with you. Bursting with fruit flavours, aromatics and complex acidity, you will not be disappointed. Kii is grown in Kirinyaga County, which is located in the heart of the country about 112km northeast of the capital Nairobi.

The coffee takes it’s name from the Kii River. The cold, fresh and fast flowing water comes directly from the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya and is the source of the water used to wash the coffee. Kirinyaga is known for it’s excellent coffee, which is grown on fertile volcanic slopes at an altitude of 1,700 to 1,900 metres above sea level
